Evidence of GTalk video chat discovered in the Gingerbread SDK

It looks like there will be an update for GTalk with the latest version of Android. After the software development kit was made available to the public, people have started digging and have made some new discoveries. Three new icons have been uncovered and they look just like the video chat icons used in GTalk on the desktop. This tallies up with previous announcements about Android 2.3 supporting native video calling- which should probably happen through Google’s own app, Google Talk. With the Nexus S just around the corner, a lot more people are going to have access to an Android phone with a front facing camera real soon. I wonder if it’ll take off like Apple’s FaceTime. How important is video calling on your phone to you?
