Even more Windows Mobile phones are running Android

Joining the Nokia N900 and HTC HD2 in the list of “phones that are not supposed to run Android, but are running it” are more Windows Mobile phones – the HTC Vogue, Touch Diamond, Touch Pro and Touch Pro 2. Granted, not all the builds are fully functional (yet), but developers are hard at work on getting all the problems and bugs fixed. But hey, if you want to breathe life into that aging phone of yours, giving it an Android upgrade might do the trick. Not to mention the Android builds are of Gingerbread (version 2.3) so you can even brag about having the latest version of the operating system when your friends are still stuck on Éclair with newer phones. If things keep up at this rate, soon we’ll see Android on practically 9 out of every 10 smartphones we come across. I wonder if Google counts these phones getting Android in their daily activations list. Watch a video of Gingerbread running on the Sprint Touch Pro 2 after the break:
