It’s not even 2011 yet and we have another Android Tegra 2 tablet on the highly-saturated market, Sony Ericsson were probably right about not competing in the tablet war. At least not until somebody does something to shake it up. But the A7 from eLocity that has been available for purchase online from a variety of online stores including Amazon, Micro Center and Sears will be shipping out today to customers who pre-ordered the device. With specs like an NVIDIA Tegra T-250 dual-core processor, a 7″ touchscreen display, 4GB of internal memory, a microSD memory card slot, a USB port and 1080p HDMI output, Adobe Flash support, and Android 2.2 it does stand out from the current crop of tablets, but we’ll have to wait and see how it performs against the competition. The tablet also weighs slightly over a pound, which is good news for those of you looking for a tablet you can bring everywhere without straining your arm. The eLocity A7 will cost you about $370 and can now be purchased from one of the various online stores. If any of you have received your tablets, let us know your first impressions, we’re always interested to know.
