App video previews now available on the Android Market

With recent changes to the Android Market, some have been for the better (improved UI) and some have been for the worse (15 minute refunds) and some new features have been discovered. Have you ever encountered an app with descriptions and screenshots so vague that the only way to find out what it does is to download it? Sometimes it’s not really the fault of the developer as it can be hard to describe the function of an app with just some words and a couple of screenshots. Well now, you can say goodbye to those encounters. The Android Market now supports video in the Android Market, so you’ll know what you’ll be experiencing when downloading a brand new app (assuming the developers took the time to come up with an instructional video). Apps such as Dropbox, Twidroyd and Skyfire have such videos available, let’s hope other developers follow suit with their own app videos as well.
