Android 2.2 Froyo update for HTC Legend is now live in Europe

Great news for all HTC Legend owners in Europe- your Christmas present has arrived early, in the form of an Android 2.2 update for your phone. The update that brings the Android phone up to date with the latest version of Android (for the moment at least- 2.3 won’t be arriving so soon) should be delivered to you over the air. Android 2.2 brings native tethering and WiFi hotspot functionality, speed, memory and performance optimizations, support for installing apps to expandable memory and more. Have patience if you haven’t received the notification to update yet, as usual when dealing with updates over a large area, it will be a staggered released. Let’s hope the update reaches our shores soon. After all, nobody wants Frozen yogurt when you can have Gingerbread right?
