AirPrint with any Mac or Linux connected printer with Avatron Print Sharing

Avatron has just announced the release of their latest app on the iTunes App Store called Print Sharing. Since iOS 4.2’s introduction of AirPrint, iOS devices such as the iPad, iPod touch and iPhone have only been able to print wirelessly with AirPrint-compatible printers. Since there aren’t many such printers available at the moment, and not many people can be bothered to invest in a new printer just for the sake of AirPrint, third party solutions have popped up to fix the problem. Avatron’s Print Sharing app is one of them. With the Print Sharing app, you can use your iOS device to wirelessly print documents or images from any shared printer connected to a Mac or Linux on a WiFi network. It sure beats transferring files over to your computer before you can get any printing done. If you have an AirPlay-compatible printer, Pint Sharing will also work with it. Head over to the iTunes App Store to get Print Sharing for $2.99.
