In the world of smartphones, having a value-for-money plan is just as important as the network coverage, so when a carrier that isn’t one of the big four makes a claim as “best value in wireless”, we listen. US Cellular, has just announced a new smartphone plan called the “Primary Plus Plan”. Targeted at consumers who are considering their first smartphone or users who are looking for an alternative plan to their current sky-high carrier service. Costing $69.99 a month, Primary Plus Plan users will get 5GB of data, unlimited text, picture and video messaging, free GPS navigation and 450 voice minutes and free incoming minutes. Benefiting users who call and text a lot, and want to go online as well, the Primary Plus Plan is also part of The Belief Project that offers customers benefits from their network even without a contract. Benefits such as promotional prices for new phones, and a phone replacement program for broken or malfunctioning phones and more. Though the plan doesn’t seem like the “best value in wireless”, the benefits you get with their plan aren’t something many carriers offer, especially without a contract. But as usual, when it comes to selecting a network- it all depends on the coverage in your area. Will any of you be signing up for US Cellular’s Primary Plus Plan?
