Toshiba Folio 100 has a high return rate due to Flash problems

Sales of Toshiba’s Android tablet, the Folio 100, have been put on hold after the high number of returns the device had been getting. A retailer of the tablet had even put the price of the Folio 100 at £999 just to prevent further sales of the device. According to Toshiba, the suspension is only temporary and sales will resume once the problem has been rectified. According to reports, the tablet has been tarnished with Flash problems. With Flash being one of the key points to owning an Android device, this was a serious issue that couldn’t be ignored. Doesn’t it sound like a case of minimal testing just to get the device onto store shelves? Sure seems like it to me. In any case, we won’t be seeing the Folio 100 stateside anytime soon. When it does, hopefully it won’t be marred with the same problems.
