Sprint ZTE PEEL lets your iPod Touch make VoIP calls on the go

The ZTE PEEL has been officially announced by Sprint. This cradle acts like a mobile WiFi hotspot that turns your iPod touch into a machine capable of making VoIP calls. For those of you on Sprint who want an iPhone but don’t want to switch to AT&T, and you have an iPod touch lying around, this might be the device for you. Though you need to use a 2nd or 3rd generation iPod touch for the ZTE PEEL to work. The ZTE PEEL will retail for $79.99 when it launches on November 14th. However, the monthly plan will cost you $29.99 with a cap of 1GB of data. Seems a little stingy of Sprint to offer so little for the price you pay. Hopefully they’ll raise the cap or drop the price in after it launches. Who’s interested in using a ZTE PEEL with their iPod Touch?
