Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 to support multi-touch soon

When the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 was first launched, it had no multi-touch support. SE first said that support for it would arrive in a future update, but then later retracted the statement by saying that the phone didn’t have the hardware to support it. Some hackers managed to get multi-touch to work on the phone to prove them wrong, and they did. Now it seems that SE doesn’t want to remain beaten at their own game and will be releasing multi-touch support for the Xperia X10 sometime soon. The official SE blog has released a video showing the progress on bringing multi-touch to the X10. The update is planned for early 2011, but after seeing how long they took to bring Éclair to the phone, we’re not really holding our breath for this update.  How many of you are fine without multi-touch on your X10?
