Symbian seems to be in a rut. Users of the operating system have been missing out on a lot of big apps. Until now, there is no official Youtube app for it. Even the Foursquare app for Symbian was written by the Nokia team themselves! But not everyone has forsaken it, there is some hope. One of the most popular VoIP clients in the world, Skype, will officially be making its way to the Symbian^3 operating system. According to a message on the Skype forums, the IM and VoIP app should make its way to the Symbian^3 operating system by the end of the year. If Nokia wants more people to adopt their operating system, they should be looking for a way to get more developers of big apps on board. How many of you are excited to see Skype on Symbian^3?
