SecondTab adds a second tab to your BlackBerry OS 5 browser

BlackBerry users on OS 6 have had the luxury of opening multiple websites for awhile now with their web browser that supports tabbed browsing, while OS 5 users have been left behind. It appears that someone decided to code an app to let you surf more than one page at once with the OS 5 browser. The app, aptly called SecondTab, doesn’t really add a new tab to your browser- it works by opening a new window with a browser in it, so you can surf two sites simultaneously on your BlackBerry OS 5. While it’s not as good as using the OS 6 browser which enables you to have more than two tabs, having a second tab is definitely better than just having one tab. But like they say, “beggars can’t be choosers” and it certainly isn’t a bad idea to help us hold out while we wait for the official OS 6 update for our BlackBerry phones.
