Run DOSbox on your Samsung Vibrant

Most people over the age of 20 should have had some of the fondest memories launching games or programs from the command line interface. How cool it felt to be typing commands into the computer, like some genius working an advanced contraption. If you didn’t know the commands, you wouldn’t be able to do anything. Well, DOS isn’t really dead. If the recent DOS app for iOS is proof of anything, it’s that people can’t let it go. DOSbox is one clear example. It allows users to run DOS applications while in an environment that doesn’t support DOS anymore (XP, Vista, 7). If that wasn’t enough, some folks over at XDA-developers even managed to run it on a the T-Mobile Vibrant. It runs perfectly without a hitch, and even DOS games can be played on it! The guy who accomplished it hasn’t posted a tutorial about how to do it yet, but I’m sure in time he will. Head over to XDA-developer for more details.
