New OTA update for EVO 4G fixes problems with Qik and Tango

It appears that an unannounced update for the Sprint EVO 4G has started rolling out to its users today. This update brings your EVO 4G to version 3.30.651.3 and is supposed to fix a problem causes the phone to turn on and off when you use Qik or Tango. Since there is no official change log from Sprint, it’s unclear what else this update brings. But according to them, only users with the newer EVO 4G phones (version 3.30.651.2) will get the update- people with older versions shouldn’t even be seeing the update notification. Either way, if you do see the update but you’re using an older EVO 4G, it is advisable to hold off the update until we know what it does. Stay tuned for any developments. Are you affected by the Qik/Tango bug?
