MetroPCS has officially announced their first Androd handset- the LG Optimus M. Similar to the Optimus S and T, the Optimus M is a specially rebranded Optimus One phone for the MetroPCS network. This entry level device will pack a 600 MHz processor, run on Android 2.2, with a 3.2″ touchscreen and a 3.2 megapixel camera, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS support. MetroPCS will be offering the LG Optimus M for $229 without a contract, though to use it on their network; they offer a $50/month plan. The phone will be available starting November 24 at MetroPCS stores nationwide and online. If you’re looking for a way to get your hands on the LG Optimus One without a contract, MetroPCS might be right up your alley.
