KreditFly, a company that has been operating silently for the past year is finally ready to unveil their latest service to the world. Called KreditFly, it basically allows users to use their handphones like a credit card. How it works: when users are paying for a service or purchasing something, they will have the option to select KreditFly as their payment option (even if they don’t have a KreditFly account)- they just need to provide their mobile phone number. The purchase will be settled by KreditFly, and users will receive a 4 digit code on their mobile phone. Within seven days, the user needs to register with KreditFly (if they don’t have an account) and then settle the bill by purchasing reload cards at stores (i.e. Walmart, Target, 7-Eleven) or mail in cash or money orders directly to KreditFly. The 4 digit code which they received earlier will be used to identify what they will be paying for. Benefits to using KreditFly for your purchases include the ability to earn points which can used like cash at partner sites such as in-game items, virtual currency, music and more. KreditFly will be launching its beta service soon, starting with game services, so keep your eyes peeled for more info. The service will be initially made available to residents of the US and eventually the rest of the world. It certainly opens up a new world of purchasing options for people without a credit card. Can you see yourself using a service like KreditFly?
