iPhone 3G users were let down after an upgrade to iOS 4.0 which caused a massive slow down on their phones which rendered them pretty much unusable. It took some time, but Apple finally released a new version of the OS (4.1) which helped, but the phone still wasn’t as zippy as it was before iOS 4. Users were still unsatisfied but it seems that Apple has been listening. According to the folks over at TiPb, who installed the GM version of iOS 4.2 onto an iPhone 3G- it brings the phone back up to speed. They even shot a video which you can watch and see for yourself.
