iOS 4.2.1 GM released

No, it’s not iOS 4.2 for the public. But a new version of the iOS has been released to developers. Instead of just being for the iPad, this version is for all iOS devices- the iPhone, iPod Touch and the iPad. Apparently iOS 4.2.1 is supposed to fix issues that VoIP programs have been having with 4.2. Whenever a phone call is made to a VoIP program (i.e. Skype, Tango, Line2), the program will continue to ring even though the call is answered. Quite an annoyance if you ask me, especially if you use VoIP a lot. I wonder if T-Mobile will take advantage of this in their next myTouch 4G ad. Anyhow, don’t expect the iOS 4.2 being released to the general public this week. How many of you who are using GM builds of iOS 4.2 are encountering this issue?
