Great news for all Android developers out there. According to some rumors, the software development kit for Gingerbread (the next version of Android), will be ready by next week. Developers can start getting their hands dirty with the new tools and explore what Android 2.3 will have to offer. And with the SDK ready for use, it won’t be too long before the public get access to the updated version of Android operating system as well. Google’s long-awaited awaited update to Android will provide numerous changes such as tablet support, an updated interface, native video calling support and more. So cross your fingers and hope that the rumors are true because if they are, we can expect to get Gingerbread in time for Christmas.
