FCC approves a new HTC smartphone with 4G WiMAX

The FCC has recently approved a new HTC phone with the model number PG06100. The model number resembles that of the EVO 4G which uses PC36100. Even that isn’t a lot we have to work with. HTC also recently filed the trademark for the HTC EVO SHIFT 4G, so this phone might be what they were trying to name. Many are speculating that the phone will be Sprint’s 4G WiMAX version of the Desire Z- due to the fact that the FCC documents’ mentioning it has a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, though it could also be a brand new design that also includes a slide-out keyboard. With no news or images showing what this phone is, the verdict is still up in the air. What do you think?
