Dell Streak Getting Android 2.2 Froyo Update in UK Soon

Dell announced on its Facebook page that Android 2.2 Froyo will be coming to the Dell Streak sometime this month and that other countries will be getting Froyo soon. The Android 2.2 OS will bring with it Adobe Flash 10.1 Mobile support along with Dell’s Stage user interface customization. The update page has been placed on Dell’s UK page as a placeholder, but the update isn’t live yet, hinting that updates may be available as a manual download to Android devices, though it’s unclear if Dell will roll out the update over the air with carriers. In the U.S., the Dell Streak was launched with partner carrier AT&T.
