AT&T Galaxy Tab is overpriced at $650

Looks like Samsung is pulling off the same trick they did with their Galaxy S phones, getting multiple carriers on board to sell the device, with the Galaxy Tab. This time around, they will be selling the same tablet, unlike the Galaxy S phones that Samsung modified for each carrier (Vibrant, Epic 4G, and Fascinate etc). Pictures of some internal training documents for AT&T staff have leaked online, revealing the price of the upcoming tablet on their network. AT&T will be selling the Galaxy Tab for $649.99- a hefty $50 more than what the other carriers will be selling it off contract. AT&T will be offering data for the Tab at $14.99/month for 250MB or $25/month for 2GB. The Tab will also come embedded with AT&T Account Manager to help users manage their usage. The Samsung Galaxy Tab will go on sale on November 21. Does the additional $50 turn you away from getting a Tab from them? Any theories about why they are charging extra?
