Android’s security flaws

Published

on

Apparently iOS isn’t the only operating system with security flaws. According to an article by Forbes, some researchers have discovered a flaw in Android that allows spoofed apps do whatever they want. Similar to the bug in iOS, the way that URLs can be used to run commands is how malicious apps in Android can work. These apps can do things like download other apps, make calls, send texts etc without the user’s knowledge. The good news is that Google has heard about the problems and will be looking into them. The bad news is, until a patch or solution is found, we are still vulnerable to such apps. Apps will get more dangerous as phones become capable of doing more things. It is up to the users to be responsible about what they put into their phones. Have you ever downloaded a malicious app by accident?
