Android users can now take Rhapsody to outer space

Rhapsody has just launched a new version of its app for Android. The biggest improvement? Offline Caching of songs. Users can now download playlists onto their phone and make them available without any network required. Though the function has already been on the iPhone for awhile, it’s good to see Rhapsody bringing it to other platforms as well. In case you didn’t know what Rhapsody is, it is an online streaming music service where users pay a monthly fee of $9.99 to listen to music from a catalogue of over 10.6 million tracks. Previously, if streaming content to your phone was an issue you might have settled for buying singles or albums so that you could listen to music even when you’re not connected to the internet. But now, all that will change with the ability to keep songs on your phone for offline playback. Android users can download the latest version of the app from the Android Market. Let us know if the new version of Rhapsody is a massive improvement for you.
