Acer has just unveiled their debut entries into the Android tablet market- two Android tablets that will be running the Android operating system on dual-core processors. First up we have the 10.1″ tablet with a dual-core 1GHz processor, HDMI output and a touchscreen with a resolution of 1280 x 800 – that’s a lot of pixels on a tiny screen, but it gets better. The second tablet they unveiled will be a smaller 7″ Android tablet, but with the same 1280 x 800 resolution- talk about pixel density! It will pack a dual-core 1.2GHz processor instead and will have a front facing HD camera for super clear video calls. Though it’s unconfirmed what version of Android the devices will be running, it’s safe to say that they will be on Gingerbread or Honeycomb by the time they get released in April 2011. Looks like the next generation of tablets sure are something to shout about. Would you prefer a 7″ or a 10″ tablet?
