8pen – the Android keyboard solution for people with large fingers

As most of you already know, Android users have the privilege to download custom keyboards for their phones. Custom keyboards range from just cosmetic changes to changing the way that you type on your phone. 8pen falls into the latter category. Touted as the keyboard to use when typing on a small phone, it requires you to learn gestures for each letter of the alphabet. Touted as being similar to regular handwriting, 8pen needs to be learnt before it can be used efficiently. If the regular keyboard bores you and you’re interested in a new method of typing for a change, give 8pen a shot. It was just released onto the Android Market today and will cost you $1.58 to purchase. It doesn’t cost a lot by any stretch, in the worse case scenario, you can treat it as some sort of game if you’re horrible at it and want to write proper sentences using it.
