HP Gets Former Palm Senior Director

Is HP looking to step up its smartphone offerings, and tackle Apple, RIM and HTC? Well, that might be what the company has in mind, especially since former Palm executive, Jonathan Oakes’, LinkedIn profile lists a most to HP’s Emerging Businesses Unit, which includes iPAQs and other mobile related things. Perhaps his arrival will spur some new things from HP, and we certainly wouldn’t mind some cool and new products from HP.
