It’s probably due to the economic downturn, but it’s really not surprising to get wind of news that Telus only partially met company goals, and that has probably resulted in CEO Darren Entwistle and other senior management figures to suffer a pay cut. Mr. Entwistle’s pay dropped 18% to $6.9 million from $8.4 million in 2007, with his base salary remaining unchanged at $1.2 million. Robert McFarlane, EVP and CFO took a 23% hit to $1.8 million, down from $2.3 million.
