Handango Trying To Sell WinMob App Store

Folks who have been downloading apps for their mobile devices for a long time will certainly remember Handango, who had what was probably the first version of an online mobile application store. Now the company has updated its inHand software to try and push to carriers. Wi9th its new Mobile Store Platform, many of features of Apple’s app store have been included. It also features a customizable, brand-able interface, QA and certification system. Carriers will even be able to bill the customers directly for their application downloads, without having to go through credit card details. The service is currently only available to carriers, and can’t be downloaded by non-carrier branded devices.
