Ever thought you could file your taxes via text message? Well, it seems the folks on Sweden have had the option to do so for the past 5 years. All they have to do is enter their social security number and a security code that was sent to them via mail, and send it to the Department of the Treasury and that’s the job done. Is there a downside to this? There is, and that is that the tax declaration has already been prepared by the country’s tax authority. By submitting your confirmation via SMS, you accept all of the calculations done by the tax authority.
