Nokia Wants To Spy On Employee Emails

Published

on

Nobody wants their secrets to be revealed to the world, and Nokia (for obvious reasons) is rather concerned that its employees might leak its secrets to the world, which is probably why it’s trying to monitor its employees’ email over in Finland. The obstacle is that such a thing probably isn’t a constitutional thing to do, not to mention Nokia would need approval of a law referred to as “Lex Nokia” and the Finnish Parliament would have a hard time approving it. Reports are going around that Nokia is determined to “leave” Finland if it doesn’t get what it wants, resulting in the country losing 16,000 jobs. It certainly sounds drastic, especially in this economic climate. Would anyone dare call Nokia’s bluff?
