New HTC Touch Cruise

Published

on

HTC’s new version of the Touch Cruise is looking pretty. You might have previously seen pictures of it under its codename – Iolite. The phone can double up as an in-car navigation system, which is rather obvious seeing that there is a cradle included. The phone has features such as GPS, A-GPS, quad-band GSM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, microSD slot and 3.2 megapixel camera, though the coolest feature is probably the new HTC Footprints software which uses geotagging, allowing you to take notes, audio clips and the GPS location data and embed them into a “postcard” of sorts. The phone will be going for $500 to $600 for an unlocked version, which should be available in Q2 2009.
