HTC S743 At CES

HTC has shown its latest slider smartphone over at CES 2009 – the S743. While the name isn’t all that exciting, the phone looks like an ordinary candybar, but will be able to slide out a full QWERTY keyboard from the side when you want to. It’s a little disappointing that the phone doesn’t feature a touchscreen, though there are some other fancy features that could possibly make up for that. There isn’t any mention of pricing just yet, though we’ll probably need to wait for a carrier to pick one up before we get an actual subsidized price. Features of the S743 include:

• 12-key keypad design
• Full slide-out QWERTY keyboard
• Windows Mobile 6.1 operating system
• Supports HSDPA (850/1900MHz) networks
• 2.4″ QVGA display
• Microsoft Exchange support
