Rogers 3.5G Network Announced

Canadian subscribers on Rogers’ network should be happy given that Rogers has just announced its new 3.5G network, which will allow users to get download speeds of up to 7.2Mbps. The service will be rolled out in Canada’s top markets which include: Victoria to Halifax and other main markets including Abbotsford, Red Deer, Chilliwack, Penticton, Port Alberni, Lethbridge, Kamloops, Nanaimo, Oshawa, Orillia, Owen Sound, Kawartha Lakes, North Bay, Chatham, Ste-Hyacinthe, St-Jean-sur-le Richelieu, Granby, Cowansville, Valleyfield, Moncton. Service should cover 75% of the population by the end of 2008.
