AT&T Network Outage Explained?

We reported on the big AT&T network outage which coincided with Wal-Mart’s iPhone 3G launch, and while there wasn’t any official word from AT&T back then as to why such an outage happened, there are reports going around now that it was caused by a power outage in Bloomfield, Michigan. It might be the reason for the network outage, though surprisingly there were users who reported that they didn’t get a proper signal, while the person next to them was using the network just fine. In any case, AT&T’s network is back up, so hopefully this won’t happen again.
