Windows 6.5 Is Real

We’ve heard whispers of Windows Mobile 6.5 recently, though it wasn’t confirmed whether it was real or just a rumor. Now that it’s come out of Steve Ballmer’s mouth, it’s hard to think of it as a rumor. On the recent Telstra live webcast, he has mentioned that Windows Mobile 6.5 is on its way, and will be available next year. Is 6.5 coming out just to please us while they delay the release of Windows Mobile 7 some more? As long as Windows Mobile 6.5 comes out soon, a lot of people should be happy to get the update.
