Samsung Omnia Gets DivX Certification

Fans of Samsung’s Omnia will be happy to hear that the phone has been able to get the DivX Certified label. While it certainly isn’t the first phone to have such credentials, it is the first phone that is certified as such to ship in the US. If you were wondering what all this means, it means that the Omnia will be able to play DivX video files on it’s beautiful 3.2-inch touchscreen display, regardless of whether the video file is stored on the device’s onboard memory or removable memory card.
