No Firefox Mobile for iPhone

A recent interview has highlighted the fact that there will not be a Firefox Mobile for the iPhone. While this will be a huge disappointment to many iPhone users out there, it really shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone, especially since Apple won’t allow an application on the iPhone that replicates the functionality of a pre-existing Apple application, and Apple also does not allow apps that run any code in the background.
