DRM-Free Songs For T-Mobile G1

There’s already enough T-Mobile G1 news today, but news relating to the G1 doesn’t look like stopping anytime soon. Next up, Amazon has announced that their MP3 music store will be pre-loaded on the G1. This means that users will be able to pick from 6 million DRM-free MP3 songs from the online store, and the application features a phone-optimized view of Amazon’s MP3 store. You’ll need to use Wi-Fi if you wish to download the songs, but you can search, browse and listen to samples over T-Mobile’s network. Tracks will cost around 89 cents, with albums going between $5.99 and $9.99.
