LG Teams Up With Dolby

In what is probably a direct response to Samsung’s partnership with Bang & Olufsen, LG is going to team up with Dolby Laboratories. The result of this partnership will be LG being the first phone manufacturer to incorporate Dolby’s Dolby Mobile technology into mobile phones for the global market. Dolby Mobile includes technologies like simulated surround sound, audio expander, bass improvement and a high frequency enhancer. LG is looking to introduce Dolby enhanced phones in Q4 this year.
