Google Angers Android Developers

Published

on

It’s not often that Google makes a bad move, what with their “Do no evil” motto and all. It seems this time Google has managed to anger the Android developer community, which may not have been the smartest move, especially Apple launching their App Store.

The cause of anger is Google’s access restriction to their latest SDK (software development kit) for their supposedly open Android platform, to the top 50 companies from its recent developer competition. This move leaves most Android developers to struggle with their 4-month-old SDK, which was last updated in March.
