Sony Ericsson's C905 8.1 Megapixel Camera Phone Is Now Official

Though it shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone who has been following the rumors, it’s still nice to hear that Sony Ericsson has officially announced their C905 Cyber-shot phone. As with all Cyber-shot phones, this one is filled with camera features, not least the whooping 8.1 megapixel sensor! Other camera features include a Xenon flash, face detection, image stabilization.

Even though it’s a Cyber-shot phone, it’s well covered in the connectivity side, sporting a quad-band GSM and tri-band and even UMTS / HSDPA on some variants. It also comes with an auto-rotating, 2.4-inch scratch-resistant QVGA display, aGPS with Google Maps, A2DP stereo Bluetooth, TV-out, WiFi with DLNA support. Storage for all those multimedia functions will be taken care of by a 2GB Memory Stick M2 which is included.

This stunning Cyber-shot phone is set to be released for the masses in Q4.
