Sony Ericsson Launches Its New USB Modems, Includes GPS Too!

It seems like Sony Ericsson is trying to overwhelm users today, with their launch of a variety of new products. Next up is a pair of new HSPA USB modems, the MD400 and the MD400g. Both are the same, with the MD400g having additional GPS included.

These USB modems also double up as a Memory Stick M2 / microSD card reader, which is becoming a fairly common practice to do so. These USB modems support 7.2Mb/s download and 2.0Mb/s upload speeds with its swiveling antenna complimenting its built-in one. Mac users can also smile as both these retractable USB modems will be compatible with Windows and OS X machines.

The MD400 and MD400g should be launched worldwide in Q4 at a currently undisclosed price. They will be available in either Exquisite Ebony or Lustrous White.
