Owners of the iPhone use their device to surf the web more than any other handset, according to a survey conducted by ComputerWorld. The iPhone’s Safari browser makes up 0.09% of the total accessed web browsing share, topping the list for mobile browsing, with Windows CE (0.06%) and Danger’s Hiptop (0.02%) falling in at the 2nd and 3rd positions respectively.

The survey seems to be for US users, since the Symbian Series60 browser would have a higher position among European users. The fact that Apple has captured such a wide field of mobile browsing is proof that Jobs and Co know how to market their phone as the top browsing device on the market. The touch zooming features on the iPhone make it fun to browse the net in its full glory.
