Tamagotchi phone coming your way

Tamagotchis were all the rage back in the mid-90s, with collectors paying exorbitant prices for some of the rarer models just like how Tulip-mania gripped Europe a few hundred years ago. Bandai Wireless is now offering a prepaid cellphone that comes with a pre-loaded Tamagotchi for you to fawn over. Of course, such a handset is suitable only for children unless you have not yet grown up mentally. Each handset comes painted in a bright color and custom wallpaper, while prepaid minutes stored inside can be converted into credit used to purchase extras such as ringtones, games, and new wallpapers. Parental controls have been included in each handset for obvious security reasons. Pricing and availability details are still unknown.
