Motorola W220 receives FCC approval

The almighty FCC has given the nod to the Motorola W220. This watered-down version of the Motorola KRZR packs more than enough power that should satisfy all but the most demanding of power users. The clamshell W220 offers dual-and GSM support and has an American (850/1900MHz) and European (900/1800MHz) versions. Features include 65k color STN internal display with a resolution of 128 x 128 pixels, while the presence of external service indicator lights keeps you informed of the W220’s status. In addition, the W220 also comes with a built-in FM radio, a speakerphone, and JAVA support.
