FCC approves HTC Excalibur

Published

The HTC Excalibur has finally received approval from the FCC, but it is highly doubtful that such a serious looking unit will fly off the shelves in droves. The Excalibur has a design that leans too much toward the Blackberry range of devices, and it won’t be able to handle too many applications simultaneously judging by the TI OMAP 850 200MHz. A pathetic 970-mAh battery would mean carrying a charger with you always is mandatory. This Windows-based smartphone will most probably be available on both Cingular and T-Mobile networks.
