Jitterbug service to be available soon

GreatCall Inc’s new MVNO service, the Jitterbug, targets the older demographic with its specially designed phone from Samsung. The Samsung A120 offers a simplistic UI, oversized buttons and graphics, and a cushioned cup located at the earpiece for improved acoustics under all conditions. It sounds like a landline when opened, emitting a dial tone sound to ease the older folks into using the A120. You can access the operator at the touch of a single button. Expect to pay between $10 to $25/month, depending on the plan you signed up with. Trials are expected to begin this summer, with a commercial launch being targeted on Labor Day. The MVNO service will rely on Sprint’s network.
