Two new handsets named Jitterbug Dial and One Touch have been announced by Samsung and GreatCall. They are both dual-mode CDMA/AMPS clamshells with similarities: The text is easy to read and the speakerphone can be activated easily. Both have ‘yes/no’ confirmation buttons. On the One Touch, 12-digit keypad is replaced by three bigger dialing buttons. One can be programmed by user, one is directed by operator and the other is used for emergency calls. These phones are designed for seniors and may be available in the US at the beginning of September.
