Dopod S300 clamshell phone is feature packed

The Dopod S300 is the first clamshell smartphone from the company. Its slim design is just 15.8mm thick and weighs a mere 99g. It has a TI OMAP 850 processor at its heart and runs on the Windows Mobile 5.0 platform. The 2.2″ QVGA 65k color TFT screen displays brilliant pictures, and you can tell by viewing through the photos taken with the 1.3-megapixel CMOS camera. The S300 comes with 64MB ROM and 64MB RAM, a MicroSD slot for memory expansion, Media Player 10 with WMA/MP3 support, Push Email, QR Code, USB, IrDA, and Bluetooth 1.2 connectivity. It has a very comfortable keypad with quick media playback buttons for your convenience. The S300 offers 5 hours’ of talk time and 150 hours’ of standby time and will retail for $429 when released in Taiwan this May.
